Your bespoke journey begins with a personal consultation with founder and an experienced jeweller Márcia Lages. Together, you’ll discuss your vision for a one-of-a-kind ring — your style, your partner’s taste, and any ideas or inspirations you’d like to bring to life.

Customization Options

Guided by our team, you’ll explore every element that brings your custom engagement ring to life, ensuring every choice perfectly reflects your aesthetic and budget.

Precious Metals: Choose the perfect foundation for your design — from 9k to 18k gold or the refined elegance of sterling silver, celebrated for its timeless beauty and versatility.

Choosing the Gemstones 

Selecting the stone: 

Together, we’ll help you choose the ideal gemstone for your piece. Whether it’s a diamond, a coloured gem, or something more unconventional, our team will guide you toward a stone that complements your design and meets the highest standards of quality and beauty.

Ethical Sourcing: 

At Amaré, we are committed to responsible and ethical sourcing, ensuring every gemstone is carefully and transparently obtained — so you can cherish your piece with complete peace of mind.

Step 3

Design Sketches & 3D Rendering 

Create a Custom Design: 

Based on your preferences, our skilled team of jewelers will create a custom sketch of your jewelry piece. These sketches will showcase the overall design, including how the setting, band, and gemstones will come together. 

Collaborate on Design: 

You’ll have the opportunity to review and provide feedback on the sketches. Our professional team will refine the design to ensure it perfectly aligns with your vision. 

Visualize the Ring: 

Before casting, we create a 3D-printed resin model of your design, allowing you to see and try the piece in person at our Lisbon studio. This hands-on preview lets you experience the proportions, details, and overall feel of your ring — and make any final refinements before it’s brought to life in precious metal.

Step 4

Final Review and Adjustments 

Personalized Touches: 

After the piece is complete, you’ll have a final review. This is the perfect moment to add any personal touches, such as engravings or adjustments to the fit. 

Sizing and Fit

The ring will be carefully sized to ensure the perfect fit, with any additional adjustments made to guarantee comfort. 

Step 5

Crafting the Ring 

Master Jewelers at Work: 

Once the design is finalized, the ring is entrusted to Amaré metalsmith’s Márcia and Rodrigo, the expert bench jewelers. Using a mix of traditional craftsmanship and modern techniques, your piece will be carefully handcrafted with attention to every detail. 

Hand-finishing: The team ensures a flawless finish, using hand-finishing techniques to polish the ring to perfection and securely set the gemstone.

Step 6

Delivery 

A Timeless Piece: 

Once everything is finalized, your bespoke jewelry piece will be carefully packaged and delivered to you, ready for that special moment.
